Brown fused alumina is produced from bauxite as the raw material, with the addition of anthracite and iron shavings, and is smelted at high temperatures above 2000 degrees in an electric arc furnace. It is then crushed, formed in a self-grinding mill, subjected to magnetic separation to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes. It has a dense texture, high hardness, and spherical-shaped particles, making it suitable for manufacturing ceramics, high-strength resin abrasives, as well as for grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting, and it can also be used to produce refractory materials.
Ruite Brown Aluminum Oxide (BFA) has high compression strength, high toughness, excellent self-sharpening, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and excellent hydrophilia and cleanliness. It is a clean, high-strength material that resists oxidation and corrosion, maintains chemical stability, and withstands extraordinarily high temperatures.
